Why Join ECC ?

Owning a Corvette is only half the story, these cars were built to be enjoyed...

Enjoying a Corvette means different things to different owners. At some point in time everyone with a Corvette wants to put the car through its paces. Some folks look forward to participating in a road trip with fellow Corvette owners. There are those who just enjoy getting together with other people who share a common interest in our favorite sports car. Then there are the owners who begin thinking about making performance modifications and those who require technical information, restoration assistance or just some help with the car and feeding of their 'Vette.

With the possible exception of restoration of early Corvettes, each of these instances is an example of where joining the Edmonton Corvette Club can prove to be rewarding.

There are the parking lot slaloms, the events at Namao and the CCCC-sanctioned events which all provide a closed-course environment that is suitable for honing your driving skills and exploring the upper ranges of your car's performance.

There is the satisfaction of a job well done (and the trophies) that comes from competing and doing well at the annual Powerama car show or the various Show & Shine and the Concours events that our club and others host throughout the driving season.

When in search of answers, the accumulated knowledge and experience that your fellow members bring to the table gives you access to technical assistance that dealers simply are not in a position to offer you.

Of course there is the camaraderie to be derived from touring with members on our events and to events held by other clubs.

So if your definition of how you look toward enjoying your Corvette lines up with any of the many ways in which we seek to enjoy ours, then you are welcome here. No matter what vintage your Corvette is, no matter what condition it is in, we extend an invitation to you and your family to take part in the Edmonton Corvette Club and look forward to meeting you soon.
